Canadaland is an independent, people-powered news site and podcast network that relies on audience support. Since 2014, we have grown our programming thanks to listeners and readers who believe in paying for the kinds of journalism that they would like to see more of. (We neither solicit nor accept media subsidies from government.) To learn about what we do with your money, please have a look at our annual transparency reports.
The best way to support us is to hire us to keep reporting the news and making podcasts by subscribing to one of our monthly plans:
* Some podcast apps, such as Spotify and Stitcher, don’t allow custom podcast feeds. Click here for a full list of compatible apps.
** Patreon will adjust the currency you are charged to your location. More information about adjusting your payment currency can be found here.
Canadaland has always been responsive to our audience’s feedback, and over the years, we heard you ask for an easier signup process and a way to support specific shows. We’ve been on Patreon since the fall of 2014, but in early 2020 also began working with Supercast so that we could offer our listeners an option that addressed these requests.
As podcasting grows and technology continues to develop, we will continue to evolve the ways that you can subscribe to and support us. We want to offer more options so that you can support our journalism in the way that is the best fit for you.
Want to know more? Check out the FAQ about our monthly plans.
Is an ongoing subscription not right for you? We also accept one-time support via PayPal or e-transfer to email@example.com.
